Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church
Goessel, Kansas

Casavant Frères, Ltee., Op. 2297, 1955
Moved and rebuilt by Dobson Pipe Organ Builders, 1988

Originally built for Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa, Casavant Op. 2297 was sold to Alexanderwohl in 1988 when Wartburg commissioned our Op. 46. Although the Casavant’s stoplist remains largely as it was when built in 1955, a few changes were made and the instrument completely revoiced to better suit its new home, which is more than three times the size of the seminary chapel.
