James A. Dorn, now Choirmaster/Organist at Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Richmond, Virginia, served St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota from 1999-2000. While at St. Paul’s, he was instrumental in the production of a two-CD recording entitled “Food for the Spirit,” a benefit for Loaves and Fishes, a Minneapolis non-profit that provides meals and other services to the hungry. Included among the tracks (ranging from Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 to a medley of gospel solos, all performed by Twin Cities-area musicians), are several pieces recorded on our Op. 70 at St. Paul’s, which Jim was kind enough to share.
